@GabyChristian In honor of my brother’s loss to SIDS on 5/9/91, as well as for mother’s day, I’m fundraising for sidssurvivalguide.org/ Everyone who makes a donation, big or small, will receive a personalized SON pic from me & @Mandy_Musgrave. Thank you!
South of Nowhere was groundbreaking and significant because it dared to feature two teenage lesbians as its MAIN characters. While the show was embraced by hundreds of thousands of people, millions more never had the chance to see South of Nowhere because it aired on a cable network. Television has come a long way in recent years, however gay and other minority characters are still vastly underrepresented. With the increase in bullying-related suicides in recent years, it is obvious that acceptance is still a long way off.
Rerunning the critically acclaimed South of Nowhere on a MAJOR network will undoubtedly help someone and that is reason enough to start this campaign. Every new “LIKE” increases the chances of the show being rerun for all to see (and the possibility of more being made), so please pass on this message (or the FB link) to everyone you know.
THANK YOU!

“She’s my best friend in LA. We’re like Spencer and Ashley, we go everywhere together and we do everything together. We have a very good friendship and it’s helped in developing our characters.”
